Jon ran every street in the 610 loop... so you don't have to!

I've lived my whole life in Houston, Texas and the last 10 years inside the 610 loop, which covers almost 100 square miles and is home to about 500,000 people. I have always been an avid runner and outdoor adventurer and love to seek out new physical challenges. Some of those have included ambitious yearly mileage targets of 2500 and 3000, the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim trail, and various Strava map artworks (see here and here).

In 2022 and 2023, I set out to run up and down every street inside the loop, and ultimately finished the project over 180 (nonconsecutive) days, and 2000 miles/300 hours of running. This "digital scrapbook" tells the story of this project through data, photos, videos, and memories.
